CAPTAINS REPORT

A2 from Matt Hehner (22/1/24)

This season our team has had mixed results and find ourselves 9th on the ladder with 4 games to go. A couple wins in a row will enable us to push up towards the top 4. We have a real positive vibe amongst the playing group and lots of contributors with both bat and ball. Isuru and Jake have been elite in the field and our bowling has been on fire, with KP taking wickets for fun. Our Tuesday night T20’s have been lots of fun and we have had 3 strong wins. We are looking forward to another strong performance this Tuesday against Unley.

B1 from Daniel Rabbett (22/1/24)

​It has been a successful first half of the season for the B1’s as we currently sit on top of table. This is particularly pleasing given that we have had the opportunity to play a number of younger players in the side, who have brought great enthusiasm to the group. A particular highlight was Hayden Sutton’s game performance with both bat and ball in the last match as an 18 year old, which should leave people excited for the club’s future. Mateen Fiaz has been a fantastic recruit for the club, regularly taking wickets, and we have been very fortunate to have Cam Pannach who has not only played well for us, but been a great mentor to the younger players. We hope we can keep the momentum going in the second half of the season!

C1 from Jason Jennings (24/1/24)

The C1's are positioned well with 4 minor rounds remaining .Sitting in 3rd spot with some hard work to do . 3 wins, including an outright and 2 loses so far, whilst being in winnable positions in both part washouts. As captain very happy with the grit we have showed in the last 2 wins . Great effort so far being the  4th picked side at Reynella and coming up against most teams 3rd or at times 2nd sides
